Frequently asked questions
What happens if my child comes from another (non-French) school system?
The mastery of French is essential from CP onwards, as all teaching is in French. A level equivalence will be based on previous bulletins. A educational interview or a French assessment can be organised to ensure that they are properly integrated into the required level.
Why take an entry test if I come from a French-speaking country?
We fully value the quality of the courses you followed in your French-speaking country. Nevertheless, in order to ensure perfect pedagogical continuity and to guarantee that all our students benefit from teaching that strictly conforms to the standards of the French national education system (approval, content and methods), we carry out an entry test. This test enables us to accurately assess the level of each student and to tailor his or her support at our school as closely as possible.
Can I enrol my child at school if he or she does not yet have an Emirates ID?
Pupils may start school without having completed the necessary formalities. However, they must have been initiated in order to meet the deadlines imposed by the government.
