FAQ :

 

Applications will not be accepted in the following cases:

  1. Applications submitted after the deadline and/or incomplete in accordance with the documents requested. Are considered as incomplete applications that do not include at least the documents indicated on the AEFE application form.
  2. An application from a non-permanent employee of the French civil service.
  3. For teaching posts, an application from a civil servant who does not belong to the teaching body of the 1er or 2nd degree.
  4. An application from a tenured teacher applying for a subject other than his or her own.
  5. Non-tenured staff in their own corps (trainees)
  6. An application from a member of staff currently on secondment covered by the MEN's annual memorandum on the recruitment and secondment of staff abroad, or whose request to renew their secondment has been forwarded to their home administration, except in the case of follow-up or bringing together of spouses.

 

Please note:

All applications must be received FULLY COMPLETED in accordance with the procedure below by no later than 12 noon Paris time on 17/11/2025.

Applications that are incomplete or arrive late will not be processed. All supporting documents must be attached, including Iprof screen shots.

Applications must include at least the following documents:

  • AEFE application form duly completed completed and signed.
  • Curriculum vitae 
  • Cover letter 
  • Copies of higher education diplomas 
  • Copy of tenure decree 
  • Screenshot of the IPROF summary sheet
  • Copy of the latest promotion order. 
  • Copies of the latest existing inspection reports, PPCR, visit report or minutes of career development meetings. 
  • IPROF screen copy of the teaching and administrative note, if applicable 
  • Copy of an identity document. 
  • Proof of spousal support (if, on the date of the CCPL, the spouse can prove that he/she has been employed in the country no later than the date of the start of the school year). 
  • Copy of current contract (for AEFE staff). 
  • Copy of the secondment order (for seconded staff only). 
  • Copy of certificates (languages, certification, etc.) if requested in the job description.

 

The schools would like to draw candidates' attention to the fact that the living standards are high in the United Arab Emirates (for example, you have to pay 6 months or a year's rent in advance).  What's more, authorisation to practise in a school is subject to local accreditation production of certified and legalised diplomas for local accreditation is essential. The contract is subject to obtaining a secondment.
