Located in the heart of Abu Dhabi, the Lycée Louis Massignon is deeply rooted in its host country and plays an active role in the educational and cultural life of the United Arab Emirates. It cultivates a sincere and respectful attitude towards local culture and its environmentand works every day to ensure that it blends in harmoniously.
In close collaboration with the Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK), Abu Dhabi's Ministry of Education, the LLM works hand in hand with the local authorities, respecting the UAE's national identity and cultural values.
Throughout the year, this commitment takes the form of numerous educational initiatives and concrete actions, integrated into the school curriculum and the life of the school. These aim to raise our students' awareness of essential universal and local values, such as sustainability, solidarity, social responsibility, generosity and kindness. In particular, we are inspired by the vision of Sheikh Zayedthe founding father of the United Arab Emirates, whose principles of respect, cooperation and community involvement resonate with the values we promote.
At LLM, we place great emphasis on citizenship education, developing a sense of belonging and getting students actively involved in eco-responsible projects and voluntary work. Whether it's discovering local heritage, environmental conservation projects or solidarity actions, these initiatives enrich understanding of Emirati heritage and reinforce the principles of active citizenship.
