🏅 Union des Jeunes Sportifs (UJS)
At the Lycée Louis Massignon, students can take part in the sport of their choice thanks to theUnion des Jeunes Sportifs (UJS)affiliated to theUNSSthe second largest sports federation in France. This scheme, which complements PE, is based on an agreement between the AEFE and the UNSS, giving French schools abroad access to a rich and structured range of sporting activities.
Registrations for 2025-2026: mid-September
The activities are divided into 4 divisions:
Team sports football, basketball, volleyball
Water activities : swimming
Racquet sports badminton, tennis
Multi-sports climbing, weight training, dance
The year is punctuated by inter-school meetingsand sporting events local or international, and the training young officials.
The UJS encourages students to get involved in a variety of roles: young coach, referee, organiser or committee member. The programme encourages diversity, l'friendshipthe respect andexcellence.It also regularly offers new sporting activities accessible to all.
Practical info
Open enrolment sessions will be held shortly after the start of the school year in September.
