Immersion in the world of diplomacy

A group of Terminale students with a passion for the diplomatic profession were invited to a tea party at the Residence de France on Tuesday.

 

His Excellency Nicolas Niemtchinow, Ambassador of France to the United Arab Emirates, spent more than two hours talking to some forty students from four French lycées in the Emirates. He answered the students' many questions with precision and captivating anecdotes, giving them a unique insight behind the scenes of diplomacy.

 

This fascinating and inspiring meeting gave our students a better understanding of the many facets of the diplomatic profession and the career paths that lead to it. Many thanks to the Ambassador for his availability and hospitality!
