Our 2D and 2C students and the eco-delegates braved the heat for a major environmental mission! Committed to restoring mangroves, they planted 1,500 seeds and collected over 6,000 seeds, which will be sown by drone after passing through water.
This educational outing highlights the ecological values and environmental responsibility that we encourage at the Lycée Louis Massignon. Thanks to the support of ADNOC and the expertise of the Distant Imagery Solutions team, our pupils discovered the impact of new technologies in the service of the planet!
The drone used, made entirely of wood and recyclable materials, is capable of sowing more than 3,000 seeds in 5 minutes. Proof that innovation can go hand in hand with ecology.
These outings offer our students a unique opportunity to connect with nature while learning how to preserve the Emirates' ecological riches.
