On Tuesday 31 October, the Lycée Louis Massignon was honoured to take part in a literary encounter with French novelist, playwright and screenwriter David Foenkinos at the Sorbonne Abu Dhabi.

Three classes in Seconde and Première at LLM had the chance to explore the world of literature and talk to David Foenkinos, a French writer acclaimed for his literary talent and influence on the contemporary literary scene. He is the author of several best-sellers, including "La Délicatesse", "Charlotte" and "Le mystère Henri Pick", which have captivated readers around the world.
This meeting made a valuable contribution to the promotion of French culture in the Emirates and inspired our students through literature. We would like to extend our warmest thanks to the French Institute of the United Arab Emirates and La Sorbonne Abu Dhabi for making this enriching cultural experience possible, as well as to Claire Sosso, Literature teacher, for supervising this exceptional school outing.
