100ᵉ LLM Webradio broadcast: our Young Reporters welcome His Excellency Mr Nicolas Niemtchinow, Ambassador of France to the United Arab Emirates.

To mark the 100ᵉ broadcast of our Webradio, the Lycée Louis Massignon was honoured to welcome His Excellency Mr Nicolas Niemtchinow, French Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates!

To celebrate this exceptional milestone, our team of Young Reporters from the collège-lycée and our primary school pupils from the extra-curricular journalism activity had the chance to interview him. They talked to him about his career, the diplomatic profession, his missions and the essential role he plays in promoting France abroad.

His Excellency warmly congratulated the students on the quality of their work, and encouraged them to remain curious, committed and aware of their role in building a more united world. He stressed that diplomacy is a profoundly human and humanist profession.

Our young reporters from the extra-curricular journalism activity, supervised by Émilie Flahaut, then asked short questions, symbolised by selected objects, which enabled them to explore different aspects of Mr Niemtchinow's person and career, in a way that was both original and personal.

The Lycée Louis Massignon warmly thanks His Excellency Mr Nicolas Niemtchinow for his visit and for the rich exchanges he shared with our students.

A huge well done to everyone for this memorable show, and a big thank you to Coralie Zegdane, who has been running the webradio with a master's hand since October 2022!

  • Interviews with students and teachers
  • Historical anecdotes
In this episode we hear from Coralie Zegdane about her background, her motivations and her vision of education through the media.

Ms Gouix, headmistress of the Lycée Louis Massignon, also spoke of the educational benefits of webradio: public speaking, mastery of digital tools, writing skills, analytical skills, etc. She particularly praised the quality of the questions asked and the contributions made by our students, which were much appreciated by the interviewees!
