As part of their 4th year French lessons with Ms Émilie Flahaut, the pupils embarked on an original project during a lesson devoted to the media and journalistic writing: the creation of a podcast based on a seemingly simple question!
"What's an end of year?"
- What does the end of the year mean for students, parents, teachers and management?
- What happens to the school when the corridors empty in the summer?
- Why do we feel joy and sadness at the same time?
There were a number of educational objectives: Learn the basics of journalism - how to research information, formulate relevant questions, conduct an interview and write like a journalist.
This sequence also enabled them to develop a way of thinking and communicating that will be invaluable to them in the future.
This podcast was an opportunity to put their learning into practice in a practical, lively and innovative approach to French lessons.
