On 28 April 2025, our pupils from CM1 to Seconde took part in the Course aux Nombres (CAN), a stimulating challenge where mental arithmetic and quick thinking are essential. In a time limit of 7 minutes, they had to answer 30 mathematical questions, combining quick thinking and agile calculation. It was an experience that turned mathematics into a game of speed and strategy!
The challenge was supervised by maths teacher Salim Fellache, who guided our students throughout the event.
Educational objectives :
- Stimulate and deepen your knowledge of numbers
- Develop agility in mental arithmetic and speed of thought
- Cultivating initiative and time management under pressure
- Make mathematics more fun and enjoyable while reinforcing key skills
At the end of this test, only two students per level will be selected. They will form the two teams that will represent the school in the Middle East zone final.
