Bringing mythology to life through English in the international section

Students from 6ème en Section Internationale recently showed off their creativity and literary skills by presenting some superb 3D models of huts inspired by the gods of the Camp Half-Blood, based on the Percy Jackson series. The project combined art, mythology and storytelling, giving students the opportunity to delve deeper into the world of Greek mythology.

Each hut was uniquely designed to represent a specific god: from Aphrodite's dove and shell, to Athena's owl, Chronos, god of time, and Demeter, goddess of the season, harvest and agriculture, the models captured the essence of the gods' personalities and domains. In addition to their drawings, the students wrote descriptive profiles on the gods, explaining the symbolism of the cabin, along with a short story entitled "A Day in the Life of", imagining what it would be like for each god to live in their cabin at Camp Half-Blood.

The project was not only a celebration of their artistic and writing talents, but also a demonstration of teamwork and a love of storytelling.

Well done to the 6th form students in the International Section for their hard work!
