The 4th formers plunge into the world of the Alebrijes during the Spanish reading challenge!

All the 4th year classes at LLM took up an exciting challenge in Spanish lessons: to delve into the novel La leyenda de los alebrijes.

This literary journey took them into the magical world of the alebrijes, the fascinating creatures that, according to Mexican beliefs, guide the souls of the dead. It was a great opportunity to explore Día de Muertos and Mexican traditions, while perfecting their Spanish comprehension, vocabulary and grammar.

This week, the 4°A pupils celebrated the end of the challenge with a festive tea party. The three best readers were rewarded, and all the pupils received a small token of appreciation for their commitment and perseverance.

How can we arouse students' curiosity in modern languages? By combining language learning with cultural discovery. This challenge is the perfect example of a teaching method that motivates and enriches.

Well done A big thank you to all our Spanish teachers for organising this reading challenge and for their exceptional supervision!
