On Thursday 6 March, 4th form students from the Lycée Louis Massignon took part in a speedbooking, organised as part of the Semaine de la langue française et de la Francophonie.
This project was initiated by our CDI librarians, Faneva Razafindrainibe and Vanessa Bonnet, and supported by Madame Jouenne, our literature teacher. Each pupil had the opportunity to present his or her favourite book in a few minutes, explaining why he or she would recommend it. It was a great opportunity to share literary favourites, exchange impressions and discover books that spark the imagination.
Our aim? To stimulate the desire to read, promote the French-speaking world and enrich our cultural exchanges.
At the end of the activity, a reading suggestion box was set up on a table so that everyone could suggest new books that the CDI could acquire. A great opportunity to make the library even more lively thanks to the participation of the students.
Well done to everyone for their enthusiasm and passion for reading!
