On 24 April 2026, the Lycée Louis Massignon was honoured to receive a delegation from the French Embassy in the United Arab Emirates, comprising Ms Stéphanie Salha, Counsellor for Cooperation and Cultural Action, Mr Guillaume Routier, Deputy Counsellor for Cooperation and Cultural Action and Mr Sofiane Youssef, Scientific and Academic Officer.
This visit takes place against the backdrop of the reopening of our in-person school, after a two-month closure and five weeks of distance learning, during which educational continuity was fully ensured thanks to the exemplary commitment of the staff, students and families.
The delegation was able to find out about the measures put in place to ensure a smooth return to school: restoring pupils' bearings, rigorous application of safety instructions and presentation of the plan for sheltering pupils and staff.
During the visit, the delegation also discovered the nursery's brand new outdoor spaces: the playground and its new garden, two living spaces that encourage personal development, play and contact with nature.
Lycée Louis Massignon Delighted to Welcome the Embassy of France on the Occasion of Its Return to In-Person Learning
On April 24, 2026, Lycée Louis Massignon had the honour of welcoming a delegation from Embassy of France in the United Arab Emirates, composed of Ms. Stéphanie Salha, Counsellor for Cooperation and Cultural Affairs, Mr. Guillaume Routier, Deputy Counsellor for Cooperation and Cultural Affairs, and Mr. Sofiane Youssef, Scientific and University Affairs Officer.
This visit took place in the context of our school's return to on-site learning, following two months of closure and five weeks of distance learning, during which educational continuity was fully maintained thanks to the exemplary commitment of our staff, students, and families.
The delegation was able to discover the measures implemented to support this smooth return to in-person learning: restoring students’ routines and reference points, the rigorous application of safety guidelines, and the presentation of the shelter-in-place plan for students and staff.
During the visit, the delegation also discovered the brand-new outdoor areas of the kindergarten: the playground and its new garden, two living spaces designed to promote children's well-being, play, and connection with nature.
The representatives of the Embassy then met with our kindergarten pupils and teachers, with whom they were able to exchange in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
This visit was marked by constructive discussions on the resilience of our school community, cooperation, and future projects. It reflects our shared commitment to educational and cultural excellence.
