Fake news & artificial intelligence: our students under the microscope

As part of Press and Media Week, pupils in 4C, accompanied by their literature teacher Madame Arbaud, delved into the heart of the media universe through two key themes: fake news and artificial intelligence.

In the CDI, they took an in-depth look at the dangers of disinformation and the manipulation of public opinion. Understanding how false information spreads and learning how to check its sources are essential skills in the digital age!
They then studied the impact of artificial intelligence on journalism and the traditional press. Can we still trust images and texts generated by algorithms? How is AI transforming our relationship with information? These are just some of the questions that fuelled some fascinating discussions.

👉 A key educational project, run by the CDI and supported by Madame Arbaud, to help our pupils develop their critical thinking skills and adopt an informed approach to the news. In a world saturated with content, learning to decipher the media is more essential than ever!
👏 Well done to the students for their commitment and a big thank you to the teachers for their involvement!
