As part of a wider project on emotions, Ms Christine Valleix's 6ème AB pupils had the chance to work with Mr Reda Chairaitia, a professional actor and artist in residence. Together, they discovered the art of expressive reading through the emotion of fear, by working on an extract from the book The Pass of a Thousand Tears by Laurent Petit.
This exercise is part of an in-depth study carried out by Madame Valleix with her 6ème classes on how to express and understand emotions through literature. Reda Chairaitia, with his expertise as an actor, guided the pupils in learning diction techniques, body placement and emotional expression, enabling them to experience each emotion fully during the reading.
