From 21 to 25 April 2025, the Lycée Louis Massignon celebrated Science Week! It's a great time to discover science, technology, engineering and mathematics, with the aim of awakening students' curiosity and inspiring new careers.
Exchanges between the different levels (primary, secondary and high school) enabled the pupils to get together around scientific activities that were both fun and practical. It was in an atmosphere of sharing and discovery that our secondary school pupils passed on their knowledge to the younger ones.
Here is an overview of the enriching experiences our students have taken part in:
- Observation of blood cells and the immune system
- Study of living organisms in the soil and how they function
- Illustration of the random aspect of the behaviour of a sample of radioactive nuclei using a throw of the dice
- Experiments to understand the principles of electricity
Thanks to these innovative workshops, the school is continuing to make science a lively, accessible and exciting subject for all its pupils!

Kindergarten: a Science Week full of discoveries for families!
Science Week continued in the kindergarten, and our young scientists had the pleasure of discovering, alongside their parents, the wonders of science through interactive and educational workshops.
On the programme: study of different materials, fascinating experiments with gas and bicarbonate, fun experiments with marbles, handling gears... These varied activities aroused the curiosity and interest of everyone, young and old!
After the workshops, parents and children enjoyed a convivial snack, the ideal opportunity to exchange their impressions and share their discoveries.
A great way for families to share science and learning!
A big thank you to all the parents for their active participation, which contributed greatly to the success of this Science Week and to the preparation of our future citizens of tomorrow's world!
