On 3 October, the Lycée Louis Massignon (LLM) celebrated the culmination of the "Momo et Lolotte" project with a book presentation ceremony. This initiative, led by pupils from last year's CPA, CM2B and CM2C classes, is part of the "Livres du monde" project run by the Agence pour l'enseignement français à l'étranger (AEFE).
Our students have brought to life an illustrated story in three languages (French, English and Arabic), featuring the endearing characters of Momo and Lolotte. This work allows them to share their experience as students at the Lycée Louis Massignon and to discover Abu Dhabi, their host city.
The ceremony was attended by :
- Mrs Audrey Hosny-Guinard, Headmistress, Nursery to CP;
- Mr William Ribas, Headmaster, CE1 to CM2 ;
- Nathalie Cortes and Isabelle Moriou, teachers in the participating classes;
- Ms Maria Aboujaoude, Arabic teacher and Ms Rachelle Khouri, English teacher;
- Mr François Monnier, representing the National Education Inspectorate.
This unique creation will join the "Books of the World" collection in the libraries of the AEFE network. It will give other children the opportunity to discover the Lycée Louis Massignon and the Emirati capital through the adventures of Momo and Lolotte.
Congratulations to the LLM students for their creativity and enthusiasm throughout the project! A big thank you to all the participants for their involvement in this great international educational initiative.
