Reading morning, a great inter-cycle meeting

On 10 October, pupils from Maternelle and the Lycée Louis Massignon's primary schools got together to share a special moment in the school playground. Working in pairs, the Grande Section C and CM2A pupils shared a precious moment in the school playground, taking advantage of the arrival of fine weather to read some carefully selected stories. The aim of this intergenerational exchange, led by Jessica FONGARO PICARD, Audrey GONIN and Fabienne SENNEPIN, was to putting reading at the heart of learning. The older children enjoyed reading the captivating tales, while the younger ones listened with rapt attention and admiration.

The aim of this initiative was to strengthen pupils' reading skills, enrich their vocabulary and develop their concentration and imagination, while promoting their well-being. But above and beyond the learning, it also helped to forge links between Cycle 1 and Cycle 3 pupils, cultivating a spirit of community and solidarity within our school.
